Our client a world leader in providing language assessments for learners of the English language to the healthcare sector are looking for a Document Controller. Our client a not-for-profit organisation is part of a world-renowned University that was established in the late 1980's under contract to the Australian Federal Government and has undergone a continuous cycle of research and validation to ensure it is fit-for-purpose and relevant for today.
This role is an integral part of our clients business and the attention to detail & confidentiality required in this role is paramount. This role is driven by strict processes and procedures and therefore very tight deadlines must be adhered to.
The Duties of a Document Controller are as follows:
- Preparing timetables for packing of test papers
- Organise materials to be picked, packed and dispatched
- Packing and dispatching materials as per schedule
- Ensure quality checks are completed to 100% accuracy
- Organise DHL pick-ups
- Processes are followed and details are correctly completed
To be successful in this role you must have had experience working as a Document Controller before preferably working for a logistics organisation. Strong eye for detail and an excellent attention span is essential due to the role having repetitive tasks on a daily basis. You must be able to work under pressure in a stressful environment and be deadline focussed. You will display a positive attitude and have the ability to be able to think ahead of time. You will enjoy working in a team environment whilst also on occasions be required to work autonomously. Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook is vital.
This role is an 6 month Fixed Term Contract position working Monday to Friday and you must have flexibility to be able to work some weekends and evenings as required.
