Whether it be Carpet, Laminate, Timber or Vinyl flooring you require and whether you are purchasing for your own home or perhaps you are a builder or developer working on a large project, our client has a fast portfolio of product and the industry experience to meet your needs.

The Position

Due to continued growth our client is now looking for a Business Development Manager / Store Trainer to join the team. Your role will be to promote the brand across QLD & northern NSW bringing on new business and developing existing accounts. On top of this you will train and develop a portfolio of stores across your region, training your colleagues on the latest products and initiatives within the flooring market.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have come from the flooring industry, specialising in carpet would be a distinct advantage. Based from our clients offices south of Brisbane, the majority of the time you will be on the road visiting new & existing clients whilst also completing store visits for training purposes.

You will:

  • Have previous flooring experience (carpet preferred)
  • Have a full Australian Driving Licence
  • Show experience of Business Development / Account Management
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills
  • Be prepared to travel, potentially on occasion interstate
