Our client a highly regarded & leader in the recruitment industry has a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join this enthusiastic, and hardworking temp payroll team. This role is a busy yet rewarding role within a fast pace environment situated in the heart of the CBD. This role is start ASAP on a temporary basis working 5 days a week till end of July 2019.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and processing of payments to staff, charges to clients and applicable reporting with in the business. Additionally, you will provide assistance, with the guidance of the Payroll Manager to the branch stuff with award interpretation and internal processes of the temporary payroll within the business.
Your essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Payroll Manager and or other members of the management team with payroll or finance related administrative task as required.
- Preparing weekly payroll and distributing to staff in an accurate and timely manner, and in line with the appropriate industrial instrument.
- Attending to payroll and invoicing enquiries from temporary employees and clients, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service with accurate and timely responses.
- Timely execution of client specific reporting and invoicing systems ensuring all charges are billed accurately and in the correct format as required.
To be considered for the role you MUST have proven experience working in a similar role where you have been responsible for the administration of high volume processing as well as a high level of numeracy skills and a strong attention to detail. You also must have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel. You will have worked in a fast paced environment and have strong communication, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. You must have a high level of accuracy and be deadline driven with the ability to pick things up quickly.
