IPA are looking for people to assist with data collection at boat ramps in the Seaforth area, approximately 30 minutes north of Mackay.
The role involves interviewing recreational fishers at boat ramps in Seaforth to collect research information about recreational fishing. You will also need to identify, count and measure the fish they catch for research purposes. You will not be enforcing fisheries regulations.
You will be required to complete the survey forms and scan and email the information through. Therefore attention to detail is very important.
The role is part time at approximately 3 - 4 x 4 hour shifts per month which includes weekends.
The pay rate is attractive and will be discussed at the interview stage.
