Payroll Officer

Our client who is arguably one of the most respected Australian organisations providing postal services to Australians has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer for a 3-4 week assignment to work a specific payroll project

Reporting to the Payroll Manager the role of the Payroll Officer will see you assisting the project team by extracting data from Excel and looking at the expected results.

Specific accountabilities will include the following:

  • Maintain HR & Payroll master data for the groups payroll systems
  • Ensure the delivery of all HR and payroll related processes are processed in agreed SLA's
  • Process payroll transactions within agreed timeframe
  • Identify & implement process improvements
  • You will work effectively as part of a team and cooperate with others

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

  • Strong knowledge of Payroll systems and other HR payroll related systems & processes
  • Have an great understanding of Award and Enterprise Agreements
  • Strong customer service experience
  • You will be adaptable to various levels of demands & be able to proritise your own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
