Program/Events Coordinator

Our client is a leading not for profit organisation established to advocate for health and medical standards and education. They have an excellent opportunity on offer for an experienced Program/Events Coordinator for a temporary position to start ASAP for 2 months.

The Program/Events Coordinator takes responsibility for the end to end management of Professional Development, Educational events and activities across Australia and New Zealand and some of your duties and responsibilities will include some of the following duties:

  • Event Management of educational events
  • Monitoring and evaluation of events
  • Assist with the development of marketing and communication articles on education activities
  • Contribute content to internal communications such as a newsletter, intranet posts and blogs
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, action lists and reports
  • Maintain systems and documentation
  • Prepare monthly client reports
  • Process reimbursements
  • Pack course kits and supporting course

As the successful candidate you will have proven experience working in a similar role and you will demonstrate the following skills:

  • Highly organised
  • Ability to juggle multiple prioritise concurrently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal
  • You're a self-starter who has the capacity to manage a high volume of work
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
