The organisation is currently looking to recruit a senior Administrator to oversee and be responsible for the day to day operational management of their office.
Working under a Board of Directors, your role will be based on Badu Island and involve working closely with the Directors, community stakeholder groups and Local, State and Federal government agencies. You will be responsible for taking minutes at meetings, interpreting and administering commercial leases and performing general bookkeeping and accountancy duties for the Corporation.
Ideally you will have worked in a similar role where you have been responsible for managing debtors and creditors, invoicing clients (eg local businesses leasing buildings/land) and paying creditors. You should also have some experience writing funding applications, interpreting commercial leases and you should be familiar with using MYOB.
The role is located on Badu Island and, apart from a generous salary, the successful incumbent will be provided with a vehicle, housing and 2 return airfares to Cairns each year. Relocation expenses may also be considered.
