IPA Townsville are currently seeking a Community Engagement Support Worker based in Mount Isa for an immediate start, contracted until 30/06/21 each with potential view for extension.
IPA is looking for someone who will thrive in a Community Engagement Support Worker role, to be based in Mount Isa. In this newly created role, you will be an integral part of the delivery of the Carer Gateway services program. Your main responsibilities will be to support the Coordinator Community Engagement and Volunteering to promote our client's services, work with hard-to-reach Carers, hidden caring cohorts or support Carers who are unable to access services via the Contact Centre in an outreach setting.
The successful applicant will be employed on a labour hire basis with IPA, working full time hours Monday to Friday. There is an attractive pay rate on offer, and this will be discussed at the interview stages.
This role is contracted through until 30th June 2021, with the potential of a further extension which will be.
- Certificate IV in Community Development
- Current valid Driver's License
- Appropriate IT skills
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check (less than 12 months)
- Blue Card
