About the role
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Relations (IR) professional to join our People & Culture team and support the IPA business in this broad and varied role. Providing EBA / EA interpretation advice and support on potential impacts to IPA, our clients and candidates. Working with a variety of modern awards, you will create rates schedules specific to clients' requirements. You must be confident in performing quarterly Better Off Overall Tests (BOOT) on flat rates versus hours worked to mitigate risk for all parties. In addition, assisting with pricing reviews for tenders and proposals and in partnership with payroll, you will manage and coordinate the yearly rate review and increase aligned with the Fair Work Commission.
Our senior P&C team are highly experienced in IR and ER related issues and will provide invaluable support and mentoring to this role.
The Successful Candidate
You may come from a HR/IR/ER background with experience in award, EBA and EA interpretation, award advisory and have a solid understanding of employment classifications and rates. Most importantly we are looking for an engaging and self-motivated individual who is considering a move and keen to work closely with our national branch network in all aspects of IR, award and rate support and advisory. You must have exceptional attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines and have outstanding communication and relationship skills to work with a variety of key stakeholders at various levels throughout the business nationally.
