Mail Clerk / Officer

Our client is seeking the services of a Mailroom Clerks for a casual but on-going assignments. There are positions available in their Inner-city & CBD site for an immediate start.

There are 7 shifts available Monday to Friday for morning shifts only.

You must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident with the ability to lift upto 15kg and pass national police check to be considered for this role.

About the role:

This busy department assesses the daily influx of mail delivered to the building. The successful candidates will be working as part of a dynamic team to ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of all mail items to the relevant recipients. Other roles involve scanning documents and processing mail.

In addition, you will also be responsible for;

  • Providing a professional, responsive and informative service to staff with regard to any mailroom issues
  • Sorting mail at a fast pace while ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Ensuring efficient delivery of items to each floor of the building
  • Scanning documents to be archived in electronic document management systems
  • Processing cheques, ensuring that all BSB and Account Numbers mirror the data in the system.
  • Other Ad Hoc Admin and Processing duties

You should be available for an immediate start and possess the following key attributes essential to the role;

* Excellent attention to detail
* Team player with positive attitude
* Mailroom, scanning, processing, and data entry experience is preferred.
