Team Profile - Therese Nitenius

Therese Nitenius

Diversity Recruitment Specialist – New South Wales

Therese has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and has worked in recruitment and business development for over six years. Her experience encompasses managing large scale diversity programs for well-reputed organisations and she has worked in both internal recruitment and agency recruitment roles over the span of her career. For the past four years IPA has been privileged to have her provide high quality, very unique recruitment and diversity solutions to our clients Australia wide.

Having lived and worked in different countries throughout her career, Therese’s exposure to diversity and inclusion best practices drives her advocacy. She has become a strong believer that everyone should be given equal opportunities to apply their unique skillset and contribute within the workforce and our communities.

Therese is an exceptionally genuine recruitment professional who cares about everyone she works with. She is thorough in her approach; she appreciates the needs of both her clients and her candidates, and she always delivers on what she promises.

Pinning Therese down after hours can be difficult. She’s usually in the sea, surfing swimming or sailing, possibly dressed up in fluoro to raise awareness for mental health. Otherwise she’ll be running an event for The Young Professionals (a subdivision of the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce)… or on a road-trip, in a live music bar, at an art exhibition, at an acroyoga event or at a dance class.
